In this project, we assisted Kristiansand Municipality with quality assurance of operation and maintenance (O&M) documentation. Ensuring the quality of O&M documentation during the handover from the contractor is an extremely time-consuming task that the building owner rarely has time to complete before accepting the documentation. We found 190 working drawings, 97 missing documents and drawings, and over 30 liability limitations that the municipality could not accept. Within 24 hours, we quality-checked the documentation and contents, enabling the municipality to send a list of deficiencies for corrections back to the contractor the day after receiving the materials. This saved the municipality significant time and costs associated with incomplete O&M documentation
