Consigli's hotel optimisation achieved an increase of hotel rooms by 16%, compared to the architect’s proposal.
Consigli's hotel optimisation product was used to fit more rooms inside the footprint of the building, achieving a larger income potential, on top of an existing architectural solution. Any restrictions within the building footprint, the required mix of room types, and the expected income per room were first identified together with the client. After the initial optimisation, based on the architect’s proposed footprint, the optimised result increased the total number of hotel rooms. Due to fire and safety regulations towards neighbouring buildings, the client required a feasibility study of a reduced building footprint relocating an exterior wall. Using Consigli’s optimisation product, this study was completed within a few hours. The final optimised solution for the reduced building footprint achieved an increase of hotel rooms by 16%, compared to the architect’s proposal. This solution increased the client’s potential income, building value, and reduced carbon footprint.
