A big thank you to l Entreprenørforeningen - Bygg og Anlegg (EBA) for including us in the panel with Egil Hogna from Norconsult, Cathrine Morch from Statsbygg, and Christoffer Hærnes from Skanska, where we discussed (more) about adopting AI. We came from Abelia’s launch of the Transformation Barometer, which measures Norway's ability and willingness to transform relative to other countries. This year, the barometer showed that Norwegian businesses rank relatively low when it comes to the adoption of enabling technologies, such as artificial intelligence.
CONSIGLI believe, therefore, that we need to stop just talking and start using the AI that already exists. There is already a lot of off-the-shelf AI for the construction and real estate industries. At CONSIGLI, we have developed custom-made AI for the industry, which delivers direct savings in construction costs and material consumption. Our solutions are both good business and, at the same time, contribute to a greener and more sustainable future. It seemed like the panel agreed, so we look forward to seeing if they get started and take more #action moving forward. So far this year, as the barometer also shows, we have more sales of our AI abroad than in Norway.
The most forward-thinking contractors (large and small), the smaller municipalities, and private real estate companies are the quickest to adopt AI. Norsk Kommunalteknisk Forening – NKF is a strong driver for getting municipalities started, and Entreprenørforeningen - Bygg og Anlegg (EBA) is doing a great job putting AI on the agenda.
