In this project, we stepped in during the detailed design phase to assist the general contractor who was facing significant challenges with the size of the Mechanical room. The technical equipment had increased in volume, resulting in the Mechanical room's ceiling being 1 meter taller than the rest of the floor, which would have necessitated extensive excavation work. Additionally, the presence of water in the ground meant a thicker foundation slab was necessary, further driving up costs. Consigli's AI re-engineered the room, reducing its space requirement by 60 cm (approximately 23.6 inches) in height across the entire room. This adjustment saved the project considerable costs on excavation and foundation work. Moreover, we also saved the project over a month of engineering work
